Kenya Acrobat Falls During Circus Show in Moscow / Кенийский акробат сорвался с высоты в цирке
A Kenyan acrobat has fallen through a safety net during a show at a Moscow circus and was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.
An amateur video aired on Russian television showed 22-year-old Karo Christopher Kazungu falling through the safety net during a Wednesday night show.
The Great Moscow State Circus said on its website on Thursday that Kazungu was conscious when he was taken to the hospital. The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the director of that acrobatics show saying that Kazungu was diagnosed with the fracture of a vertebra in his spine.
Kazungu was one of a dozen Russian and Kenyan performers who were taking part in a highly complex acrobatics show.

A female fan has been arrested on suspicion of throwing the pyrotechnic

The missile appeared to come from the Zenit sector, but the source did not confirm whether the girl was a Zenit fan.
The number of those arrested at the match now stands at 53.
Zenit have expressed regret over the incident, while the club’s general
director threatened the team would withdraw from the league if punished
too harshly over the incident.

MOSCOW, November 7 (RIA Novosti) - Five people died after a Moscow lawyer spurned by a colleague went on a drunken shooting rampage at a warehouse in northeast Moscow on Wednesday morning, investigators said.
"At around 10 a.m., seven people were shot at a warehouse on Chermanskaya Street. Five were killed, two were injured," a police source said.
Police say they have arrested a suspect, named as Dmitry Vinogradov, 30, who worked at the company.
“The gunman was a lawyer at the firm at this address. He has told investigators he was in love with a pharmacist at the company, but it was unrequited. So he went on a five-day drinking binge, and today came to work and started shooting. The girl in question is among the victims,” a police source said.
Vinogradov opened fire simultaneously with two carbines, one in each hand, an investigator told RIA Novosti.
“He opened fire from both hands on his colleagues sitting at their workplaces, from a Saiga and a Benelli carbine,” he said.
Three of the dead were men and two women, he said.
“The injured survivors are a woman and young man, who are getting medical treatment,” he added. Previously, police sources said there was only one injured survivor.
The injured man is in grave condition with multiple gunshot wounds. The women, who is believed to be the object of the shooter's advances, is in serious condition. The gunman was initially held by the company’s own security staff, the investigator said

Two people were killed and eight injured after a minivan taxi collided with a car in south-east Moscow, police said on Sunday.
The accident occurred early on Sunday in Ryazansky Avenue, the police said.

The car collision comes a day after a deadly road accident in the Russian capital, which killed seven and injured three persons, when a car slammed into a bus stop in western Moscow. The driver was detained at the scene in an apparent state of intoxication, police said. He is looking at up to nine years in prison if convicted. The man’s driving license was suspended two years ago for speeding, police said. Earlier reports said all the seven dead were teenagers, three boys and four girls.
